Compassionate Counseling Wherever You Are.

Grief, Chronic Illness, Caregiving, and Life Transitions.

At Chronically Well Counseling, I provide supportive online therapy to help you navigate life’s most difficult seasons. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions. I specialize in supporting caregivers including those in the “sandwich generation” balancing children and aging parents, as well as individuals living with chronic illness. I also work with those processing grief and loss, offering guidance and support through life’s most challenging transitions.

Support for grief & loss.

Counseling and support for caregivers.

Grief, in particular, can take many forms: the death of a loved one, the loss of independence due to aging or illness, and even anticipatory grief when preparing for the eventual loss of someone. I’m here to support you through these experiences, helping you process emotions, plan, and adjust to life’s changes.

Being a caregiver can be an equally rewarding opportunity and exhausting opportunity. If you are a "sandwich generation" caregiver you may be juggling your own immediate family's needs as well as those of aging parents, relatives, or other family members. If you are a caregiver of one individual this too can be a juggling act; maintaining your needs while at the same time taking care of the needs of another. This is where therapy can help, process these emotions, develop coping strategies and just have a space to let it all out.

Life transitions & change

We often celebrate milestones like graduations, career changes, and retirement, but we don't always discuss aging and planning ahead. Many conversations focus on extreme decisions, like life support or funeral planning, but I prefer to work in the "grey area"—helping you plan for care, support, and adjustments before they become urgent. Early planning can reduce stress and ease transitions when the time comes

Support for chronic illness.

Managing a chronic illness can affect the individual as well as those that are part of their support system. I feel it is equally important for everyone affected by the chronic illness to have the individual support they need related to their position within the support system. If you are managing a chronic illness yourself it can be helpful to talk thru it, management emotions, coping strategies, and how to advocate with those near you. If a loved one is managing with the chronic illness it all applies as well to you.
