"You don't heal in isolation, but in community."

— S. Kelley Harrell

Reaching out to talk about life’s stressors can be difficult. You might wonder, Do I really need to talk to someone? or Why can’t I just handle this myself? It’s normal to have these questions, but there’s no shame in seeking support. Speaking with a neutral third party can help you process and gain clarity. This is where therapy can make a difference.

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts and emotions. I specialize in supporting caregivers, particularly those in the "sandwich generation"—balancing the demands of raising children while caring for aging parents. Additionally, I work with individuals navigating chronic illness, helping them manage the changes and challenges that come with it. I also offer support for those processing grief and loss, providing guidance through difficult transitions.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by these responsibilities, therapy can help—and I am here to walk alongside you on that journey.

Life brings many challenges—care giving, maintaining work-life balance, and dealing with grief and loss. Grief, in particular, can take many forms: the death of a loved one, the loss of independence due to aging or illness, and even anticipatory grief when preparing for the eventual loss of someone. I’m here to support you through these experiences, helping you process emotions, plan, and adjust to life’s changes.

Therapy can also help as you navigate different life stages. We often celebrate milestones like graduations, career changes, and retirement, but we don't always discuss aging and planning ahead. Many conversations focus on extreme decisions, like life support or funeral planning, but I prefer to work in the "grey area"—helping you plan for care, support, and adjustments before they become urgent. Early planning can reduce stress and ease transitions when the time comes.

You don't have to go through this alone. Professional support can help you navigate life’s challenges and prepare for what lies ahead.

With deepest respect and support,
