Hello, I'm Melissa, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. This means I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work and have met the professional requirements set by the state of Massachusetts to practice independently.

I have 19 years of experience as a medical social worker, having worked with adults ages 18 to 100. Conversations about health concerns, end-of-life care, grief, and loss feel natural to me, and I understand they may not be easy for everyone. This is why I do what I do: to create a space where you can openly and freely discuss these often uncomfortable topics without fear or judgment.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading—especially suspense and romantic comedies—and I’m always open to book recommendations. I also love being active, whether it’s running, kayaking, or just relaxing on the beach with a good book. I coach recreational soccer for my daughter and love watching my kids pursue their passions.
